Bill has handled insurance and reinsurance claims for more than 30 years. He is a former Senior Officer of the John Hancock Property and Casualty Insurance Company where he managed a department responsible for the administration of excess and surplus lines and reinsurance claims. In this role he was responsible for the cession of losses to treaty and facultative reinsurers, the management of assumed reinsurance claims from treaty and facultative sources, as well as the management of electronic claims data and systems. Bill also served with Cameron and Colby, an MGA for the Hartford Companies, handling excess and surplus lines claims, including the analysis of the reinsurance protection and reinsurance reporting. Bill acted as a party appointed arbitrator. He received his undergraduate degree from Bates College and his MBA from Babson College. He holds both a CPCU and Associates in Claims designation.
